The Columbia Mathematics department is located in the Mathematics building on the Morningside campus of Columbia University. The departmental and chair’ s offices are in Room 509 on the fifth floor.
The combined Columbia-Barnard Mathematics Department consists of 59 faculty members (30 senior, 29 junior), 9 adjunct professors, 4 Post-Doctoral Fellows, and 64 PhD students . In addition, each year we have many short-term and long-term visitors that contribute to the intellectual activity of the department.
